Acer unveiled Monday an Intel Core i7-powered 11.6-inch laptop and introduced its latest 3D notebook.The ultraportable Aspire TimelineX 1830T-68U118 runs a 1.46 GHz Core i7 680UM, which is one of Intel’s high-end ultra-low-voltage processors. The chip is not typically available in such a compact laptop, but Acer has managed to pack it in while keeping the weight down to 3.09 pounds.Other features include an 11.6-inch LED-backlit high-definition display, which makes the laptop an easy fit for book bags or backpacks. The systems full measurements are 11.22 inches wide, 8.03 inches deep and 1 to 1.10 inches thick. The laptop includes integrated Bluetooth, 4 GB of DDR3 memory and up to a 500 GB hard drive. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price is $900.
